This stained glass was made in medieval way.The mouth-blown glass was handpicked for it specific color quality and no paint was added to alter the color of the glass itself. Then the black glaze was mixed and I drew the design on to the glass. When fired, glaze melts and becomes translucent part of the glass. It took many firings to get the quality of the overall contrast I wanted. That was a slow delivery. It took a year to finish that magic window. It takes a year to see the colors of that window.
